In order to optimize the existing situation in Reza Radiotherapy and Oncology Center by conducting relevant research, the following goals are pursued.

• Developing a treatment protocol and monitoring its implementation
• Holding research workshops and scientific conferences
• Formation and follow-up of supportive treatment groups for patients
• Understanding the research needs and priorities of the center and presenting plans based on it
• Conducting research work to solve treatment problems in the radiotherapy department
• Teaching patients about the nature of the disease, treatment steps and how to deal with the side effects of the treatment
• Providing a program in the field of cancer prevention in the form of diagnosis and monitoring of screening projects
• Forming a comprehensive database based on patients’ files, conducting research projects to investigate patients’ response to treatment and their recurrence rate and overall survival.
• Cooperating with research centers and implementing joint projects with academic centers and other academic centers and prioritizing research projects related to the needs of the center and attracting credit.
• Conducting research related to psychological and social harm caused by cancers and providing clinical services and therapeutic counseling in order to improve the quality of life of patients and family members during the treatment period and after.
