Goals and Objectives
In order to optimize the current status at the Reza Radiotherapy and Oncology Center through relevant research activities, the following objectives are pursued:
- Developing treatment protocols and ensuring their implementation.
- Organizing research workshops and scientific conferences.
- Establishing and following up on supportive therapeutic groups for patients.
- Identifying the treatment center’s research needs and priorities, and proposing projects based on these needs.
- Conducting research to address therapeutic challenges in the radiotherapy department.
- Educating patients about the nature of their disease, treatment stages, and how to cope with treatment-related side effects.
- Providing cancer prevention programs through early detection and supervising screening projects.
- Creating a comprehensive database based on patient files, conducting research projects to assess patient responses to treatment, and measuring recurrence and overall survival rates.
- Collaborating with research centers and implementing joint projects with academic and non-academic institutions, prioritizing research projects that align with the center’s needs and attracting investments.
- Conducting research on the psychological and social impacts of cancer and providing clinical and therapeutic counseling services to improve the quality of life for patients and their families during and after treatment.
