  Introducing Reza Radiotherapy and Oncology Center

RROC as the most equipped and advanced radiation therapy center in the east of the country, with 5 external linear accelerator devices and an intracavity radiation therapy device, along with other facilities and daily diagnostic equipment. It has more than 700 people and provides about 2100 medical and diagnostic services to compatriots from all parts of the country as well as citizens of neighboring countries .

  About Mashhad Cancer Charity
Mashhad Cancer Charity was registered on November 10, 1982. Before this, in the 1950s, the philanthropists of Mashhad had established a clinic called Imam Reza (a.s.) clinic in Koohsangi street of Mashhad, which after the revolution This clinic was handed over to Ministry of Health and named after the name of OMID Hospital.

In continuation of their philanthropic activities, established a sanatorium locatedin Chamran street where cancer patients and non-natives are treated who used to go to Mashhad city for treatment. they were used its free accommodation and feeding services.

For the continuation of charitable activities, the founders of the association decided to officially register the association, and finally the charity was officially registered in 1982s.

After years of financial and spiritual support for cancer patients, seeing the lack of treatment facilities for cancer patients, this Charity, with the advice of doctors and specialists in the city, He decided to build a treatment center in order to be a helping arm of health care providers in the field of cancer treatment by using modern equipment and facilities.

Therefore, after the initial measures of land purchase and the construction of the Reza ( A.S. ) treatment center located in Qasim Abad , Fallahi Blvd, Reza Radio Oncology Center started its activity with a Brachytherapy device.

With the passage of time, the desire to complete the treatment of cancer patients in terms of surgery and hospitalization prompted the association to build a hospital for this purpose. Therefore , after the necessary surveys, an area of 18,000 square meters , the construction of Hospital began in June 2015 and came into operation on 2021 January 21.

Mashhad Cancer Charity, in accordance with its mission of providing material and spiritual support to cancer patients , There are 60 beds available for patients suffering from cancer and non – natives who travel to this city and community from other cities for treatment , and throughout the period Their treatment , which is more than 40 days , they benefit from free accommodation and good quality food .

In continuation of the activities of this charity, another sanatorium with a capacity of 150 beds was built to increase the accommodation of patients and sometimes their families , who came from other cities. They refer to the city of Mashhad , it was built in 2017 and is still under construction, and it is hoped that with the support of the people , it will be used .

Mashhad Cancer Charity, as a powerful arm, is providing service along side the health care providers of the country , and will continue .
